Setting Up Reaper’s Render Presets

Reaper’s render menu has a brilliant feature for adding presets for render settings. If you export your projects in a variety of formats, then it can save a lot of time by allowing you to create defaults for each file format to quickly choose.


This comes as especially handy for people who use Reaper for multiple tasks, eg. production, podcasting, video editing etc. All the different render settings can easily be set, wildcards can be added, and destinations can be selected for each job type.

The video was created as I was exporting one of my previous tutorials on Ableton’s Impulse instrument because it was a tool which I use extensively. Check it out below!
