Speakers and microphones are essentially the same thing, microphones turn sound into electricity, speakers vice versa. In the same way that manually spinning a wind turbine will generate wind, we can use this concept to make microphones out of unlikely gear.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/en-uk.sennheiser.com\/global-downloads\/file\/2914\/HD201_hires.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/en-uk.sennheiser.com\/global-downloads\/file\/2914\/HD201_hires.jpg?resize=177%2C200\" height=\"200\" width=\"177\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><a name='more'><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you are a DJ and are asked to make an announcement, you have no mic but you do have a jack microphone input, simply plug your headphones in and talk in one of the ear pieces. Only one earpiece will work but that is of no consequence.<\/p>\n<p>This also comes in handy if you want a bad sounding microphone for recording, not everyone wants a clean sound, and so this is a useful tool if you want a rough recording.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a neat little trick for more uses than one.
